Alison Tray '09 received 64 percent of the 542 votes cast on Wednesday to win the election for Macalester College Student Government president in the 2008-09 academic year. Martin Mudry '09 won 56 percent of the vote for Academic Affairs Committee chair in the only other contested race. Andrew Mirzayi '10 will serve as vice president; Alex James '10 will be the Financial Affairs Committee chair; Lindsey Byrd '09 will be Student Services Committee chair and Paul Maitland-McKinley '09 will be the Program Board chair.
