Talk to the average Macalester senior about his/her post-graduate plans, and judging from what I've seen, I'd say chances are you'll get one of three responses: First, a well-orchestrated life-plan. This is a sign of incipient adulthood. It's usually delivered in a voice that sounds unusually self-confident, and may be followed by a grin of self-satisfaction.

Transfer students feel welcomed in new environment

A small undergraduate college in St. Paul with less than 2,000 students is a significant attraction to many incoming students, including transfers, looking to be part of the exclusive community here. For the average transfer student, Macalester represents a new college existence with a redefined purpose.
